Not quite full song, but at dawn, male in my backyard tree kind of counter-singing with a song sparrow (first time hearing the dawn song of song sparrow this year, too). The robin imitated the first three short notes of the sparrow, song-for-song, and broke off into a short version of dawn song. Also, the male made the rounds in my yard, tree to tree, chasing off other male robins. Loved hearing and seeing him in action this morning!
