Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/26/2018

Number: 1

Today, I confirmed the first adult male Ruby-throated Hummingbird, of Spring 2018, in my yard. He may have been here for several days, during which I mistook him for my resident Black-chinned hummers. If he looks like a little Hummingbird pretzel in this photo, it is because he is preening the base of his tail.
