The monarch was sighted flying to a butterfly Bush in my yard that hasn’t blossomed yet.

I was surprised to see a monarch butterfly this early in the year. It was a female monarch, and in back of us we have a berm with butterfly bushes in it. She was headed towards the bush though it has not yet blossomed. I have not seen any milkweed blooming yet, but we do have daffodils, tulips, pansies, and flowering trees. I have only seen her that one time.
