We saw our first (2) of the season on April 1st, and another today (April 2nd) all headed easterly along our coast.

These are the first north bound monarchs passing through our coastal region we have seen since we began paying attention to butterflies and monarchs in particular, which has been about 5 years.

Sorry, no pics, there aren't many flowers available for them here.
