This is a follow-up photo to my 3/29/2018 report (Monarch Adult Sighted). This is one of the monarchs seen today nectaring deeply from a Yellow Thistle (Cirsium horridulum). These interesting plants are a powerhouse of juicy nectar for bees, beetles, and butterflies ~ and monarchs love them!
