Observed 6 monarchs today. 1 to 2 per hour. Most were flying from SW to NE, close to the ground. Some were nectaring on white clover and other spring wildflowers. Wing conditions ranged from light to moderately faded. Skies mostly sunny with temps in the upper 70's with gusty SE-S winds from 10 to 20 mph. Plan to check the local fields for milkweed tomorrow.
