After missing our turn while driving, we pulled into a parking lot to turn around and looked up to see our first butterfly sighting of the year—a Monarch flying over the parking lot! That familiar flight pattern caught our eyes and we were so delighted to see it! It was probably flying about 20 feet off the ground, heading in an easterly direction.
