First Monarch sighting of the season. Very early, as I rarely see them before July.

No, no mistake here! It was definitely a Monarch, nectaring from the daffodils! I only saw the one, and I was gardening and didn't have my camera with me. Will try to get a photo if I see it again. No milkweed here yet, but I am wintersowing some in milk jugs right now. Just fyi, I usually don’t see them until sometime in July, when my Mexican sunflowers are blooming, so I was completely baffled to see one so early!!!
