This is a follow-up photo to my 4/13/2018 report (Monarch Adult Sighted). This is one of the male monarchs that was flying around as I was following a female monarch seeking milkweed to lay eggs on. On this warm, humid, blustery, pre-storm day the monarchs seemed to be nectaring a lot, mostly from the blossoms of the milkweed plants (Asclepius viridis) themselves.
