A large flock of robins descended on the mountain ash trees with berries outside our living room window. There was still about 3 feet of snow covering most of the ground at the time so the poor birds had to find berries still on trees. It has been a very cold spring with snow continuing later than usual. This was our first sighting of robins this year. A week late at least.
