Thought I had seen a hummingbird two other times including yesterday. But was not certain. However, I saw a Ruby-throat as it departed a Black & Blue Salvia this morning. I did not see its gorget, so am not certain if it was a male but suspect it was a female.

It seems to me that this first of season appearance is later than in previous years. But, I had not recorded the earlier dates.
