First sighting of a ruby-throat on a very chilly morning! After I saw this guy drinking, I quickly re-filled the feeder with warm nectar and brought my “hummer flower basket” out of my garden shed. By the time I was back in the house, he revisited the feeder and immediately found the flower basket. It’s been unseasonably cold here most of the spring so seeing this hummer brings hope that warmer days are coming!
