I could not tell if it was a male or female. I believe it was one of the three that stay here every summer. I was sitting outside in my usual place and the hummingbird buzzed my head then flew over to the window where I usually hang a feeder. I put the feeder out as quickly as I could. This hummer appeared to be of a good weight.
