We hadn't seen the bluebirds for a few days, and wondered if they'd fallen prey to a cat or been run off by the sudden explosion of hummingbirds. Yesterday while walking the dog, I saw Henry (the bluebird dad) about a block away to the south, singing away on top of a roof crest. It looked like the bluebird fledglings were in a tree nearby. This morning I saw Henry pop back into the nest box in our back yard. Delight!
