We have had a miserable winter. I just looked now for my milkweed and do not have a single leaf anywhere. I have not seen any milkweed at my work place either (20 miles East of Columbia). I have the A. syriaca at my house and we have the tuberosa at work with no spring growth on either. So much different than last year. I have not seen a butterfly of any kind, let alone a Monarch and I am looking. We actually had snow one night 2 weeks ago. We had or first humming bird one week ago. We are definitely behind everything in my opinion.
