Laura Penner from Rondeau Provincial Park, located in extreme southwestern Ontario and east of Point Pelee National Park reports "We had several hummingbirds seen this morning along South Point Trail (east side of trail) by Steve Charbonneau. This was the first day we had them reported for this year."

Southerly winds and temperatures about 61 F.

Due to it's southerly location(about same latitude as northern California), this park has many southern species such as tulip trees. this area is known as Carolinean Canada with southern flora and fauna species.
