This report links with the report of a juvenile Mississippi Kite overwintering here, but was not present when these two adult Kites showed up and I then thought that all Kites were migrating. Not true--this pair disappeared by noon, hadn't been seen the rest of the day NOR all day the next day (3rd) and no other Kites showed up either. Suspect these are the parents of the juvenile & suspect they're looking for him.
