On May 2, two male and 1 female Baltimore oriole showed up to eat from oranges at my feeder. One Orchard oriole showed up also. The next day, I had 4 Baltimore males and 2 females. The most ever in my yard! They have been heavily feeding on my oranges, and started drinking from my hummingbird feeder today. They are absolutely beautiful. I am not sure why they have this stunning orange plummage--it would serve them well in the tropics during the winter, but it's not the best camouflage during breeding season in my north woods. I do enjoy their bright coloration though. more photos here https://www.flickr.com/photos/candy__kasey/albums/72157693282347002
