These tulips bloomed (petals all openned to the sun) three days after the Ellsworth Elementary and Middle School ones openned ( FB Ellsworth Schools Food and Gardens). These were planted in a volunteer’s garden directly on the soil but with a bit of shade. Spring finally arrived in Ellsworth, Maine!
