Four Mississippi Kites (2 couples) showed up in the air so NOW we have a definite return of migratory Kites, but there was a 5th Kite in a tree across the other side of Oak Ave which could be heard, and what he uttered sounded like practice call trills; like a juvenile practicing adulting. The overwintering juvenile didn't have a trill in his call while his parents did. It sounds to me like his parents found him at long last, is one of the 2 pair that showed up, and taught him something new.
