Bruce Murphy reported to me tonight that one male ruby-throated hummingbird was seen today in northern Ontario:
It was at a feeder at Kerns Public School which is located west of the town of New Liskeard. It was first noticed by a student and created a huge amount of excitement in the school. These kids call themselves the school of flock and the teacher has her permit to band hummingbirds, so they will hopefully catch one tomorrow.
