Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/10/2018

Number: 8

One faded and tattered female came to flowers today. Nectared on assorted wildflowers in garden, laid eggs on potted milkweed. I found 8 eggs on 3 plants. As we have a wasp problem, I moved the plants to our mesh enclosure. We have seen a couple monarchs pass through in the last week, but this was the first to stay and lay eggs.
