Didn't see the egg layer so this is a tentative ID of this egg as Monarch, as I've seen a couple just passing through, and the Mississippi Kite population just went up quite a bit (3 pairs and a juvenile). Only 6 eggs found & I hope the Kites didn't see her first; hope she'll be back.
