While working on Fighting Island today, my husband saw around noon, a Monarch flying east across the island. It flitted east toward LaSalle, Ontario. He took this photo when he saw but I can't locate it in the photo.

Fighting Island is surrounded by the Detroit River & is south of Detroit, Michigan.

We had a thunderstorm overnight into the morning but it cleared up to a nice mostly sunny 21°c. 🦋
