Found orioles on our mango suet around May 10, last week. Investigated about Orioles and put out peach jelly. I had made last year. Read that they liked grape so bought grape. Now, I can't keep the make-shift plastic cups tied to the top of a hummingbird pole full. In one week, they went through a huge jar of jelly! I will now try 1/2 grape and 1/2 water. I also put out orange halves. They did eat some orange but they like the grape jelly best and the mango suet a close second. Will next try to put out nesting material to see if they will nest. We have elm and maple trees and live near forested area. Have a brook neearby as well as pastures.
