After a late snowfall and roller coaster temperature swings this spring, our tulips finally bloomed! The 82 degree high over the weekend helped open up many of the buds to reveal bright red flowers. Our first and fourth grade Mifflin Park citizen scientists were excited to make observations in the test garden and noted that the bloom date has been trending later in our area each year that we have been involved in the project as follows:
