The trees are all leafed out now, as are the bushes and hedges. The lilacs are in full flower, releasing their powerful perfume into the air in my old neighbourhood. In the flower garden, the bleeding hearts are blooming and the irises are just starting to show their beautiful purple colour. The peonies are budding, so will soon be out in glorious colour. I'm seeing fewer birds at the feeders, but more searching for food in the yard and garden.
