Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

While birdwatching, I observed a female monarch at 12:33 PM in the main parking lot of Harrisville State Park. She flew about the trees before landing upside down on an Eastern Hophornbeam tree branch (no catkins) about 12' above the lawn. Temperature was 53F. and overcast with the wind SE-6 mph. Rain moving in from the SW. Humidity 70% with the Dew Point at 43%. My first sighting last year was May 12.
