Riding our bikes along the same drainage ditch as yesterday and saw a fresh looking Monarch not too far from where we spotted our first Milkweed of the year yesterday. Could not see what sex it was as it flew over the ditch. I think this is the earliest I have seen a Monarch. Warm and humid in between rain showers, approximately 24C.
