The first Monarch of the season in My garden. This was a female and she laid eggs on A. incarnata and A tuberosa. By the time my husband broought me the camera she was done. So it is a short out of focus video. This is the first time I have seen one earlier than mid July. Northbrook, Il. Z5 NW Illinois . Also ath my in-laws home in DesPlaines this morning I say one flying.
