The resident couple began a new nest on my front porch on the 20th, completing it this morning. I observed several of their copulations as she was building, and this afternoon she is sitting on her nest.

She had built her first nest in a pine only 15 feet away, but it was so well hidden that I have no idea if her brood survived or not. They're Very secretive this year, but now that they're on the porch, I ought to be more in-the- know.
