Saw a fresh monarch at 7:10 p.m. nectaring on butterfly bush and butterfly weed. Could not determine sex. I may have seen a different monarch at 7:25 which may have been laying eggs on the butterfly weed. I think I spotted several eggs but I had another monarch this morning so not sure where the eggs came from. Weather was sunny, warm, high humidity, no wind.
