Just saw my first Monarch butterfly nectoring on my lilac trees, too flighty to get an accurate ID if it was a male or female. But I am sure if it is a female that she will be laying eggs on my back yard milkweed. I just got certified in spring of this year as Monarch Waystation #19304.Today is the earliest I have ever seen a Monarh butterfly. This i my 5th year.
