While out on 2 acres of land my daughter farms for farmers markets she noted around 10 cats (in 1st instar stage) on common milkweed, I picked 6 to take home and raise; just minutes after the picking a female monarch landed on several milkweed and layed eggs. I picked 6 eggs to bring home. Made our day!
