I saw 2 Monarchs flying low amidst wildflowers growing along the Red Run Drain in Warren, Michigan around 11:45 a.m. Temperatures were in the upper 80's with humid conditions. The Monarchs were flitting about and were not seen nectaring. I think they were looking for milkweed plants which are typically found along this drain later in the summer.
