I came home from vacation today and collected 16 eggs scattered among the common milkweed in my yard and on the boulevard. The milkweed has been up for about 2 weeks and some of it is a foot high. We have been having unusually hot weather here (100 degrees today) so this may account for the size of the milkweed.
