I released my monarch captive-raised butterfly this morning at 9:30 a.m. A male. Beautiful and big. Perfect weather conditions. Spotted him late in the afternoon (4:30 pm). Hoping female arrives soon so that she can lay new eggs. We have 4 milkweed plants in our garden and lots of nectar plants.
