My gardener friend from Marilla, saw her first monarch of the season cruising around her garden yard and especially checking out her thick lush and pampered common milkweed on Monday - late morning. It was a very warm summer-like day.

She has many flowers to provide this migrant with plenty of energy and milkweed to lay eggs on. Hopefully a mate is around.
