I saw my first Monarch on Monday afternoon! It was a hot sunny afternoon, and the happy Monarch was fluttering and landing on all the Milkweed along my fence in the backyard! She(?) might've been laying eggs. She looked happy to find the milkweed, but one of her wings was worn and tattered, like she flew quite a way to get here?
