Milkweed Sighted

Date: 05/24/2018

Number: 1

The common milkweed in my Monarch Waystation garden is blooming! It didn't come up early enough for the few monarch's who flew through here in April, but it is now over 2 feet tall, blooming, and attracting Queens! It is has spread from seeds, and I have 5 plants from the original one. FYI, nectoring flowers available are blue, white, and red salvia, Indian blanket daisies, and coreopsis. My blue mist is just budding out.
