This was my second sighting and I’ve seen another one since. More important I have 20+ monarch caterpillars in two mesh enclosures. They look to be about a week from becoming chrysalides. I collected them as eggs around may 1st or so. I saw these eggs being laid. This was my first monarch siting of the year — a full month earlier than ever before.
