At 4pm I saw 1 adult, male Black-chinned feeding at kitchen feeder while hovering only & then 5 min.s later a different adult, male BC & he did not hover at all but sat to feed. I think now all this time I was thinking we only had 1 adult male BC I believe we have 2. One prefers to hover only while sitting & the other prefers to sit the whole time. Most of the time they come at different times. At 6pm my husband noticed a lot of chasing going on out in the yard. My husband had been outside more in the afternoon & suppertime doing yard chores.
