A friend and I went to the Tallgrass Prairie, north of Pawhuska, OK, yesterday and saw lots of Monarchs. In one location, we stood in a field of wild flowers and watched close to 2 dozen flying over us. We saw one mating pair. We saw Monarchs in other areas as well.
