I reported my first egg on May 23. Numerous others were gathered and were raised without seeing an actual monarch butterfly. Now I have 11 chrysalises hanging, one J-hook, and two eggs as of today...and I finally saw a happy monarch cruising my rose milkweed and garden. Yeah! My first chrysalis will emerge tomorrow to join it. Happy Days!
