Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 06/22/2018

Number: 1

I wrote on the 20th about a larvae, maybe 2nd enstar, that I found on the underside of a non milkweed plant far from any milkweed. I brought it in and I wasn't sure if it was alive. It's color was pale. The next day it still hadn't moved but it was shedding it's skin layinf flat on a milkweed leaf. It's antenna were curled and I thought it was a gonna. I looked later in the day and it was munching away. It doubled in size overnight. These monarchs are one tough insect
