These must have hatched just moments ago. At first, I thought they were some kind of worm on my milkweed but upon closer inspection, they had the little black head and barely visible stripes of a monarch. I brought them in for safety. There were ants on that milkweed plant and had I been seconds later in spotting them, they would have been gone.
