16 monarchs on the 40 acres of the Independence Cemetery. I convinced the Independence Cemetery which has about 40 acres of old hayfield to only cut in March so the milkweed and other nectaring plants can flower out and drop seed. I am also working with several other acreage holders that contain quality butterfly habitat for the same mowing schedule. Also 20 = black swallowtails and 6 Fritillary
