This is a female monarch that I released today that I raised from the egg stage from eggs collected on 6-5-18. She is on tropical milkweed that I believe she was laid on.

I also released a male monarch with her and saw a third monarch flying nearby while doing so. I have 8 more chrysalides that I expect to hatch within the next couple of days. The butterflies appear very healthy and were in the chrysalis form 8 days.
