Observed first-of-year Monarch adult flying around a wettish field in a commercial park in northwest Amherst. Weather was very hot, very humid and very windy. The latter may have discouraged more activity by the Monarch. Observation location is quite approximate. Would be more helpful to have satellite imagery available to help identify observation locations.
