I have a larvae that J hooked sometime after 10pm last night and just became a chrysalis a few minutes ago. That's the quickest I've had a larvae go through these changes. I've noticed that this batch of larvae are not wasting much time once they head to the top of their containers. They almost immediately spin their thread and become a j-hook. Maybe the hot humid weather contributes to this. I don't use the air conditioning much so there is plenty of humidity indoors.
